Job Summary
Community Manager responsible for protecting, maintaining, and enhancing the value of the residential community by directing and coordinating overall operational activities. Responsibilities include maintaining a positive, client-oriented attitude; striving to improve community performance to meet annual financial and operational goals; directing day-to-day activities of loss prevention, risk management, safety/security, maintenance, marketing, leasing and facility upkeep; developing operating income through leasing strategy; analyzing and producing monthly financial statements including variances, cash management, and receivables collection; maintaining complete community records and ensuring lease data is accurate in management software; coordinating revenue collection following lease obligations; engaging, contracting, supervising and approving invoices for goods/services; leading on-site maintenance technicians, office staff, and leasing team; managing resident relations for repairs, rents, leases, and other concerns; participating in Cardinal U training and monitoring team participation.
Required Qualifications
- Four (4) years’ experience in property management
- Strong working knowledge of leasing, marketing, construction, residential law and resident relations
- Working knowledge of property management software; Entrata is preferred
- Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and the Google platform
- Ability to analyze a monthly financial statement and prepare detailed budgets and operating forecasts
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to relate well with others even while working at a distance or remotely
- Ability to work in an efficient manner with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow through
- Neat, professional appearance
- Strong client relations skills and previous supervisory experience is required
