Community Manager

Job Summary

Lead daily community operations by overseeing assets, vendors, and resources while ensuring compliance with governing documents and managing budgets to prepare variance reports. Build strong connections with residents, board members, and staff through open communication, facilitate resident meetings, and advise the board on long-term planning and policy-making. Develop and mentor the onsite team, focusing on delegation, collaboration, and performance development to drive community initiatives aligned with organizational goals. Maintain risk management programs and ensure adherence to policies while navigating change to improve the resident experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Three or more years of onsite community management (HOA) or similar experience (hospitality, parks and recreation, city government), with a strong operational and financial background
  • CAM license required upon hire in Florida, Nevada, and Georgia (within 90 days of hire in all other states)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, motor vehicle check, and credit check
  • Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions
  • Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds
  • Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events
  • Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices
  • Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions
  • Valid state driver's license for the class of vehicle you are driving
  • Maintain a clean motor vehicle report
  • Hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, designations, or certifications in a related field (highly preferred)

  • Open to feedback from others, and committed to professional and personal growth
