Job Summary

Coordinate daily operations for HUD and tax credit properties, including leasing, collections, marketing, maintenance oversight, and compliance with federal and state regulations. Manage resident relations by responding to complaints, screening applicants, and handling evictions while maintaining organized resident files. Process rent increases, reconcile accounts receivable, and ensure timely rent collection and deposit. Conduct daily property inspections to ensure visual appeal and hazard-free conditions, and manage vendor relations with maintenance technicians. Submit weekly reports and assist portfolio managers with property inspections. Promote harmonious relations among tenants, employees, and the local community while upholding the company's Service Model.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License and insurance
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1 to 3 years Tax Credit, HUD and/or affordable housing experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment such as telephones, computers, 10 key, photocopier, and fax machine
