Job Summary
Inspect each building weekly and maintain daily records to ensure corrective actions are taken across all buildings, grounds, and common areas. Conduct monthly safety meetings, oversee staff training, and manage operations including budgeting, financial reporting, and marketing efforts. Coordinate with the Regional Property Manager on housing violations, lease renewals, and contractor work while monitoring stock levels and equipment repairs. Handle resident relations by pursuing retention, resolving complaints, and ensuring superior customer service. Report insurance claims within 24 hours, manage eviction processes per court orders, and maintain orderly employee bulletin boards with all required federal and state postings.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- two to three years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiar with federal, state, and jurisdictional laws and regulations concerning multi-family housing, Fair Housing, and employee safety
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to regularly talk or hear
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, and sit
- Ability to often climb or balance
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to often be exposed to outside weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- IREM certification highly desirable
- Knowledge of Yardi and CRM IQ is preferred
