Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of a 282-unit apartment community in St. Louis, ensuring occupancy, collections, maintenance, resident retention, and compliance. Lead on-site staff, conduct orientation and training, perform performance reviews, hire/terminate in line with policy, and manage payroll records. Develop resident relations programs, respond to residents’ concerns, and coordinate communications between residents and corporate/HR. Manage budgeting and purchasing, authorize expenditures, and ensure proper leasing processes including Section 8/vouchers. Supervise move-ins/outs, unit inspections, and charge-outs; process applicant screening; monitor safety and audits; liaise with marketing and corporate teams as needed. Maintain property condition and curb appeal through ongoing inspections and coordination with contractors; ensure timely maintenance requests are addressed. Proficient in Yardi and MS Office; strong verbal/written communication; capable of independent work and mentoring others. Qualifications emphasize a 2-year degree and 3+ years of multifamily property management experience; relevant certifications (ARM/COS/RAM) preferred.
