Job Summary
Community Manager for a multi-family property, responsible for overall management, on-site supervision, budgeting, lease and marketing functions, resident relations, and ensuring compliance with company policies, Fair Housing, and applicable laws. Leads and coordinates the on-site team, analyzes financial statements, monitors and controls expenses, submits required reports, and maintains professional relationships with residents, vendors, contractors, and clients. Requires experience in property management, strong supervisory skills, and proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office; CAM/ARM and apartment association involvement are preferred. Must understand and apply Fair Housing and local employment laws; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Knowledge and 1 to 2 years of experience in multi-family property management
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) preferred
- Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred
- Active/participatory apartment association membership preferred
- Supervisory skills and ability to manage on-site team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software
