Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of one or more properties in the regional portfolio, lead on-site staff, manage finances, ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., Section 42, HUD, HOME, Section 811, PBRA, FHLB, Bond Programs), oversee maintenance and leasing activities, and foster positive resident relations to support affordable-housing communities. Responsibilities include hiring/training on-site staff, performance feedback, enforcing policies, rent collection and invoicing, budgeting and variance reporting, coordinating with on-site service providers, maintaining lease files, monitoring occupancy and market trends, coordinating advertising, responding to maintenance requests, conducting inspections, and supporting resident engagement and retention. Key qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, 3+ years in multifamily property management, Tax Credit Certification (or ability to obtain within 120 days), proficiency in Word/Excel, strong communication and leadership skills, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Preferred credentials include a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of management experience, ARM certification, and PSH experience.
