Job Summary
Lead and develop a high-performing team while managing the property's operational budget and monitoring financial performance to implement cost-saving strategies. Oversee LIHTC/HUD compliance, maintain positive relationships with housing authorities, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Drive resident satisfaction by executing retention strategies and resolving concerns while representing Fairfield professionally in all interactions. This role combines leadership, customer service, and regulatory expertise to deliver exceptional results at a 224-unit affordable community.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum of three years of property management experience
- Minimum of three years LIHTC experience
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Prior experience preparing for a REAC inspection, as needed for HUD properties
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local fair housing laws and provisions
- Strong knowledge of IRS 8823 guide and HUD 4350.3 Manual
- Ability to read and understand regulatory agreements
- Previous track record of maintaining occupancy and net operating incomes in multi-family property management positions
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Industry certification
- Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) Designation
- Certified Credit Compliance Professional (C3P) Designation
- Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) or Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO) designation if HUD property
- Experience in a leadership position and in managing a staff
- Experience using Yardi or other related property management accounting software
- Experience in writing and maintaining budgets
