Job Summary
On-site Community Manager for an affordable conventional apartment community in Portland, OR. Oversee daily operations, lead on-site staff, manage leasing processes and marketing, monitor budgets and financial performance, conduct inspections for compliance, administer resident programs, oversee renovations, ensure housing-regulation compliance, resolve resident concerns, and maintain resident satisfaction. Role requires 2-3 years in property management, experience with HUD/LIHTC/PSH/Section 8, proficiency with Yardi or MRI, strong leadership and communication skills, budgeting and financial reporting expertise, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Full-time with full benefits; pay range $30.00-$32.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of property management experience in supervising and managing apartment communities
- Experience with affordable properties, HUD, LIHTC, PSH, Section 8, Senior, Rural Development
- Hands-on experience overseeing daily operations of a multi-family apartment community with strong leadership
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and rent collections specific to apartment communities
- Proficiency with property management software, such as Yardi and/or MRI
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with residents, staff, and vendors
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing operations
- Physically able to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds
- Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile liability insurance
