Job Summary
Community Manager needed to oversee day-to-day operations of a 300-500 unit apartment community, including financial, administrative, sales, marketing, and maintenance functions. Responsibilities include inspecting property to ensure safety and compliance, developing and executing marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals, maintaining resident satisfaction, coordinating repairs and maintenance, managing budgets and vendor payments, analyzing income/expense reports, and supervising property staff. Requires strong leadership, budgeting, reporting, and communication skills; travel up to ~20% of time; onsite role at San Antonio, TX communities. High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred; state leasing license or ability to obtain required licenses.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of property management experience managing 300-500 units in one community
- Ability to travel via car or plane on an average of 20% of the time
- Advanced MS Office Word/Excel and computer technology skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Prior leadership experience required
- High School or GED (General Education Diploma) Required; some college preferred
- State leasing license or ability to obtain the required license(s) within the timeframe required by law
