Job Summary
Assist future residents in finding their perfect apartment while providing a positive experience to current and future residents. Use strategic consultative selling skills to achieve 100% community occupancy and employ high-level communication when dealing with residents. Manage annual budgets alongside the Regional Property Manager, approve all residential lease and vendor contracts, and mediate resident feedback to drive retention. Schedule and follow up on maintenance work orders, future move-ins, capital projects, and all aspects of community operations. Ensure work responsibilities are covered during absences and arrive at meetings on time.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years experience on-site as a Community Manager/Dual-Site Community Manager within Multifamily industry
- 2-4 years experience as Assistant Community Manager or Business Manager
- Experience in accounting and PMS systems
- Proven background within customer service in the Multifamily industry
- OneSite experience
- Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed
- Competence in Microsoft Suite and Property Management Software
Desired Qualifications
- Knock experience
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM)
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and initiate appropriate course of action
- Strong ability to mediate and assess current and future resident feedback
- Proven results of working with cross functional teams and other Community Managers or Directors
- Present self in a neat, clean, and professional manner in the workplace
- Participate in training to comply with new or existing Fair Housing laws
