Job Summary
Community Manager for an independent management services firm overseeing a 138-unit affordable housing community. Responsibilities include day-to-day operation of the community, occupancy/marketing/leasing, move-in/out, income verification, quarterly unit inspections, monitoring work orders and maintenance projects, enforcing community rules, rent eviction and collections in line with state law and policy, supervising and evaluating on-site personnel, and fostering relationships with residents, vendors/contractors, law enforcement, and community members. Reports directly to the Regional Property Manager. Qualifications emphasize leasing, sales, and customer service; knowledge of Tax Credit Compliance, EIV, HUD Section 8, REAC and MOR compliance; proficiency with Paycom and Microsoft Office; experience with RealPage OneSite; experience in managing residential subsidized housing; and adherence to Federal Fair Housing Laws. Required Qualifications
- Leasing, sales, and customer service experience desired
- Knowledge of Tax Credit Compliance, EIV, and HUD Section 8 subsidy programs
- Must have knowledge of REAC and MOR compliance
- Proficiency with Paycom software and Microsoft Office suite preferred
- Experience with RealPage OneSite preferred
- Experience managing residential communities (subsidized housing preferred)
- Must adhere to Federal Fair Housing Laws
