Job Summary
Community Living Professional providing support to individuals with disabilities in homes and community settings. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living skills, meal planning, housekeeping, money management, personal care, grocery shopping, scheduling activities, facilitating community outings, transporting individuals, and documenting progress. May administer medications, assist with transitions between rooms and homes, and support individuals in making choices. Requires reliability, hands-on engagement, flexibility to assist during day programs and medical appointments, and a genuine interest in promoting active community participation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Full drivers license
- Clean Driving Record with 2 years driving experience and less than 2 points on driving record
- Experience working with disabled adults preferred
- Basic Computer Skills
