Community Living Clinical Director

Job Summary

Oversee development, implementation, and monitoring of all Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans, and clinical programming across residential settings. Ensure fidelity of ABA-based interventions, review and approve assessments and treatment plans, and lead response to clinical incidents and behavioral escalations. Conduct audits to ensure regulatory compliance, monitor key performance indicators, and implement corrective actions based on data trends. Supervise and mentor the clinical team, ensuring supervision requirements are met, while developing training programs and providing ongoing coaching. Serve as the clinical point of contact for families, participate in intake decisions, and collaborate with operations, nursing, and executive leadership to align goals. Participate in on-call rotation for crisis support and provide decisive leadership during high-pressure situations.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker
  • Active state licensure (MO and/or KS as applicable)
  • Minimum 5 years ABA experience, with at least 3 years in leadership
  • Completion of BACB 8-hour supervision training
  • Strong clinical leadership and team development skills
  • Expertise in ABA, BSP development, and behavior reduction strategies
  • Ability to analyze and act on clinical and operational data
  • High accountability and ownership mindset
  • Ability to collaborate across disciplines (operations, nursing, compliance)
  • Strong communication and coaching skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and systems simultaneously
  • Financial and resource management awareness
  • Systems-focused thinker with the ability to design and implement scalable processes
