Job Summary
Monitor client activity, conduct room checks, and perform package inspections to ensure safety and compliance with house rules. Administer medication, document consumption in logs, and maintain accurate records of daily activities and incidents in Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools. Serve as a point of contact for client needs, de-escalate conflicts, and prepare detailed incident reports before the end of each shift. Work the 3rd shift (11:30pm-8am) part-time, 20-25 hours per week, with flexibility Monday through Sunday. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 20lbs, and operating office equipment. Candidates must have prior experience in residential living programs and trauma-informed care training. Join the Atlanta Mission team to provide food, shelter, and spiritual guidance to over 1,000 daily clients.
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to de-escalate conflicts and respond effectively to crises
- Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced environment with frequent multitasking
- High energy, with the ability to engage and motivate others toward a common goal
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write clear reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients or team members
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to use Salesforce for documentation
- Prior experience in residential or community living programs
- Training or experience in trauma-informed care or working with vulnerable populations
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20lbs
- Must have peripheral vision and depth perception
- Must have the ability to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a copy machine, calculator and computer printer
- Must be able to communicate accurate information
- Must be available to work in the case of an emergency (i.e. public health or weather related emergencies, government intervention, etc)
