Job Summary
Facilitate coordination between SJRC Texas, network providers, and community stakeholders to meet identified client needs. Educate community groups and organizations about Belong services while maintaining knowledge of child and family wellbeing systems. Organize youth and family programs, community events, and resource coordination efforts to support public engagement. Build relationships with public and private agencies including CASA, Commissioners Court, and elected officials to foster inclusive collaboration. Implement the Community Building Plan with the Regional Director and provide annual reviews. Provide services after normal hours and on weekends when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Reside within Medina, Uvalde County or the direct surrounding areas
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Child Welfare, Social Services or related field
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- 3 years' experience in child welfare and community engagement
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Good driving record
- Ability to provide own transportation
- Proof of current automobile insurance
- Body mobility to stoop, kneel, bend, reach, and walk
- Stamina to work long days and drive long distances
- Moderate to heavy lifting up to 15 pounds
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Dexterity to remain calm and adapt to fast paced and emotional environments consisting of children with moderate to severe emotional and psychological needs
- Position assigned to Regional Director
- Scheduled for a minimum of 40 hours per week
