Job Summary
Develop marketing strategies and programs to maximize admissions by contacting potential referral sources including hospitals, physicians, SUD specialists, community organizations, care managers, and legal agencies. Utilize sales skills to conduct referral development contacts, generate inquiries, and identify needed services while actively promoting new programs. Coordinate potential admissions with staff, maintain up-to-date market information on competitors and pricing, and educate potential patients on facility services. Create and implement a comprehensive business development plan, attend programs and events, and complete weekly and monthly activity reports. Handle referral source complaints, complete satisfaction surveys, and report findings to administration. Collaborate with leadership to strengthen relationships with current stakeholders and identify new clients within the assigned geographic area.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, public relations, marketing or equivalent work experience
- Two (2) years' experience with customer service, project planning/management, community outreach, or sales and networking with healthcare referral sources
- Experience developing marketing strategies and programs including referral development, intake, tracking advertising, public relations and guest relations
- Valid and unrestricted driver's license
- Must live in KS or NE
- Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time within the assigned geographic area
- Must be available for some work outside of traditional office hours
- Must have a good business awareness
- Must be able to work within a budget
