Job Summary

Community Liaison (Community Outreach Specialist) interfaces with hospitals, skilled nursing homes, board and care homes and outpatient discharge planning services to generate appropriate patient referrals for Signature Hospice services. The role involves developing and executing marketing plans, tailoring sales messaging to customer needs, maintaining professional relationships with referral sources, analyzing territory to optimize growth, coordinating with intake and clinical teams, and participating in regular meetings and evaluations. A bachelor’s degree is preferred with at least three years of marketing management experience in home health care operations; strong lead-generation, public relations, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential. The position is based in Salem, OR, and requires working out of the Salem surrounding area with in-person duties.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
  • At least three years of experience in marketing management preferably in home health care operations
  • Demonstrated ability to market aggressively and communicate with customers and the community
  • Knowledge of corporate business management
  • Strong communications, negotiation and public relations skills
  • Autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities
