Job Summary
Part-time Community Learning Curriculum Manager (18 hours/week) for Westminster Adult Education Service, fixed-term 1 Sep 2026 to 31 Jul 2027. You will recruit, induct and develop tutors; strengthen tutor capacity; lead planning and implementation of curriculum, community-focused projects and cultural events reflecting Westminster residents’ needs (family learning, digital inclusion, community wellbeing); blend teaching and management responsibilities to shape learning for adults and families. A qualified teacher with substantial teaching experience in community/adult education is expected, with capability to design, deliver and evaluate learning programmes, lead teams, and communicate effectively in a learner-centered way. DBS Enhanced clearance is required. Flexible and Agile working patterns are encouraged. Location: Westminster (London). Salary: £42,912-£46,854 pro-rata per annum (actual salary £21,456-£23,427 per annum at 18 hours/week), with pro-rata interpretation; closing date 8 July 2026; fixed-term until 31 July 2027.
Required Qualifications
- A qualified teacher with substantial teaching experience
- experience with adults or families in community or adult education settings
- designed, delivered and evaluated learning programmes
- leadership and management experience
- DBS check (Enhanced DBS)
