Job Summary
Lead planning and execution of North America community activations and events for the Sui Foundation; support North America event leads with strategic guidance and resources for meetups in key cities. Build and nurture US-based communities through high-quality content and engaging online/offline experiences; develop top talent to drive grassroots events; collaborate with cross-functional teams to define event goals, audiences, messages, and outcomes. Manage end-to-end planning of community workshops/events including project plans, timelines, marketing, vendor and budget management, and measurement. Requires 5-8+ years in community engagement, experience managing both online and offline communities in web3, strong communication skills, DeFi knowledge, travel flexibility, and a passion for inclusive community building. Required Qualifications
- 5-8+ years of experience in community engagement
- Strong project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience managing both online and offline communities, particularly in web3
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with builder community members in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Strong understanding of the DeFi ecosystem, including DEXs, staking, lending, liquidity protocols and stablecoins
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities
- Passion for community building and a genuine desire to foster a positive and inclusive community
- Flexibility and desire to travel frequently and work irregular hours
