Job Summary
Provide individualized services to individuals with disabilities to help them obtain, learn, perform and maintain jobs in the community. Includes on-site/off-site supervision, building on participant abilities, gaining knowledge of job elements, implementing rehabilitation plans, and communicating consumer concerns to a supervisor. May be utilized in the industrial workshop to meet high production demand. May assist in monitoring program participants and related tasks. Requires a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; valid Chauffeur License and safe driving record; successful background check and drug screen. Provides opportunity to support community-based employment and travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalence
- Experience in working with people with disabilities preferred
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check and Drug Screen
- Chauffeur License (SVRC will assist with this processes if you do not currently have a valid Chauffeur License)
- Safe driving record
- Successful completions of agency sponsored defensive driving course
