Job Summary
The Community Involvement Coordinator will be responsible for planning, developing, and organizing community-based services, focusing on crime prevention activities and empowering tenants through various programs. The role requires evening and weekend work and collaboration with local agencies.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Parks/Rec/Leisure Facilities Management
- Planning and coordination of events
- Working with youth, families, and communities
- Driver's License Personal & Tribal Vehicle
- Insurance Required
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and familiarity with American Indian cultures in general and the Oneida Nation specifically
- Ability to obtain additional education and training
- Driver Safety Training
- Food Handlers Certification
- CPR and Red Cross First Aid Certification
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a background check to meet Employment Eligibility Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must provide a copy of diploma/degree, license, or certification upon employment
