Job Summary
Provide 1:1 community-based support to individuals living independently under the Community Living Support Program. Duties include transportation to events, outings, and appointments; assistance with household tasks (cleaning, laundry, meal prep, budgeting); establishing daily routines; implementing positive behavior supports and de-escalation as needed; potential personal care assistance and prescribed medication support; documenting care and coordinating with team to promote independence. Requires a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle; strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work Mon-Fri during paid orientation and adapt to flexible schedules. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle
- Experience with persons with IDD or front-facing customer service
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- Ability to document care and follow support plans
- Two weeks paid in-house orientation and training
