Job Summary
Coaching and supporting clients in the community using person-centered approaches, advocacy, and empowerment strategies. Plan and lead engaging activities while teaching life, social, and vocational skills. Assist with job, volunteer, or educational exploration. Document client progress before the end of each shift. Work 100% in the El Cajon/Santee Region with a small group at a 1:3 ratio. This 12-month temporary position offers a team-oriented environment with opportunities for continuous learning and career advancement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid CA driver's license, auto insurance, and acceptable DMV record
- CPR & First Aid certification
Desired Qualifications
- Six (6) months experience with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Experience with case management systems (Therap preferred)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of person-centered planning
