Job Summary

Coordinate the Community and Game Development inclusion and diversity portfolio, drafting the Club Diversity Plan and leading the Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Manage relationships with key partners including Perth Hornets and Pride WA, while overseeing the WCE Wheelchair Football Team and the Eagles Active online learning program. Provide central coordination for large-scale events such as the Dowerin Field Day and Perth Royal Show, and work directly with the Executive General Manager to develop the Stakeholder Engagement Plan. Represent the Club internationally, manage relationships with overseas clubs, and explore government funding opportunities. Work home match days and community activations, including evenings and weekends, with a flexible schedule to support wellbeing.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in community engagement, inclusion and diversity, events or stakeholder relations, with an understanding of multicultural communities
  • Experience and understanding of football, along with an appreciation of the Western Australian and Australian sporting context and networks within the AFL or WAFL
  • Confidence working with people with disabilities and their families, and with representative groups from a broad range of backgrounds
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the confidence to present to groups, with very strong attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, competence with Microsoft Office programs, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A current and valid Working with Children Check
  • flexibility in working hours to participate in community and game day events
  • inherent requirement to work home match days, community events and activations, which will include working some evenings and weekends
