Community Host / Leisure Assistant role in UK schools, responsible for delivering a world-class experience to hirers, assisting with setting up facilities for events, light cleaning, ensuring doors and gates are secured, performing health and safety checks, and potentially taking on additional tasks to support schools and Vivify. Key duties include safeguarding, site security, customer service, liaising with schools and hirers, and completing training on safeguarding, manual handling, and fire safety. Candidates should be organized, flexible, professional in communication with schools and hirers, and capable of working as part of a team to maintain high standards of service. Role is based on a zero-hours contract and requires in-person work at school sites, with Enhanced DBS check prior to starting. Salary range is £10.85–£12.71 per hour; location options include Helsby and Ellesmere Port, United Kingdom.
