Job Summary
Originate portfolio loans, government loans, HELOCs, and fixed-rate loans sold on the secondary market by analyzing financial data and offering mortgage product recommendations. Generate residential loans in targeted areas through active promotion of the Bank's CRA lending efforts and host local home buyer education events for the public. Participate in community events and establish relationships with Realtors, builders, and non-profit organizations to increase first-time buyer opportunities. Minimize risk exposure by adhering to all federal, state, and internal compliance regulations while maintaining comprehensive knowledge of the mortgage industry. Deliver consistent service within Serving More standards, with responsibilities extending beyond traditional office hours including seven-day availability and evening shifts. Travel is required to meet clients and community leaders; candidates must live within 50 miles of Charlotte, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in the mortgage lending process: processing, underwriting, closing, and originating
- NMLS SAFE Act Registration or the ability to be registered within 30 days
- Candidate must live within 50 miles of Charlotte, NC
- Seven days a week and evening hours are at times required
- Travel will be required to meet with clients, Realtors, & community leaders
