Job Summary
Community Home Lending Advisor in Chase Home Lending serves as the primary contact for customers throughout the loan lifecycle, promoting mortgage products to existing Chase customers and the community, and guiding clients from initial engagement to application and closing. The role involves maintaining knowledge of Chase home lending products and local housing assistance programs, engaging a pipeline of customers not mortgage-ready through education and counseling, partnering with branch teams to train on products and services, managing the mortgage loan origination process with internal/external stakeholders, and delivering an outstanding customer experience through coordinated marketing and outreach efforts. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, five years of mortgage sales experience, and knowledge of FHA/VA/FNMA/FHLMC guidelines, with regulatory and licensing requirements including NMLS and SAFE Act compliance.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- Five years of proven mortgage sales experience including strong product, credit, and mortgage process knowledge and an understanding of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
- Knowledge of real estate market in local area and the ability to build new external referral sources and networks
- Track record of customer satisfaction as demonstrated in customer satisfaction scores and customer comments
- Superior written and verbal communication skills for preparing and presenting in your community outreach when providing homeowner education
- Intermediate Personal Computer skills in a Windows environment
- Compliance with Truth in Lending Act and NMLS registration requirements (SAFE Act) for Mortgage Loan Originators
