Community Home Lending Advisor in Chicago, IL leads and guides clients through the mortgage loan origination process, leveraging knowledge of Chase home lending products, local housing programs, and external relationships to promote mortgage solutions, educate borrowers, and partner with branch teams to grow loan originations while ensuring regulatory compliance and a strong customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- Five years of proven mortgage sales experience with strong product, credit, and mortgage process knowledge
- Understanding of FHA/VA/FNMA/FHLMC guidelines
- Knowledge of local real estate market and ability to build external referral sources (realtors, nonprofits, community groups, civic/professional organizations)
- Superior written and verbal communication skills for community outreach and homeowner education
- Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment
- NMLS registration and SAFE Act requirements (compliance)
