Job Summary
Community Home Lending Advisor role with Chase Home Lending in Chicago, IL, focusing on guiding clients to homeownership through mortgage products and education. Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of Chase home lending products and local housing assistance programs, promoting mortgage products to Chase customers and community members, building external relationships for loan originations, training branch teams on products and services, driving customer experience through marketing and outreach, and serving as the single point of contact through the mortgage loan origination process while addressing customer concerns and coordinating with partners to close loans. Requires fluency in Spanish, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales/real estate, five years of mortgage sales experience, knowledge of FHA/VA/FNMA/FHLMC guidelines, compliance with lending regulations, real estate market knowledge, and NMLS registration; contingent on regulatory background checks and SAFE Act requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- Five years of proven mortgage sales experience with strong product, credit, and mortgage process knowledge
- Ability to read, write and speak Spanish fluently
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
- Knowledge of local real estate market and ability to build external referral networks (realtors, nonprofits, community groups, civic/professional organizations)
- Experience with customer satisfaction data and delivering community outreach
- Intermediate PC skills in Windows environment
- NMLS registration required under SAFE Act; compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd-Frank Loan Originator requirements
