Job Summary
Serve as the primary point of contact for Chase Home Lending clients in Augusta, guiding the mortgage loan origination process from initial engagement to closing; maintain active knowledge of Chase home lending products and local housing assistance programs; promote mortgage products to existing Chase customers and community members, educating and counseling until applicants are mortgage-ready; act as the internal and external mortgage expert and collaborate with branch teams to train staff and introduce clients to additional banking products; create an outstanding customer experience through targeted marketing efforts and effective cross-selling, while ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to lending guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- Five years of proven mortgage sales experience including strong product, credit, and mortgage process knowledge and an understanding of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
- Knowledge of real estate market in local area and the ability to build new external referral sources and networks
- Track record of customer satisfaction
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate Personal Computer skills in a Windows environment
- NMLS registration under SAFE Act of 2008 or contingent on employment
- Compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd Frank Loan Originator requirements
