Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the NICU, initiating emergency treatments including infant resuscitation and advanced life support while implementing and monitoring patient care plans. Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, carry out physician and nursing orders, and assess discharge planning needs. Apply evidence-based practice to ensure care aligns with age-specific clinical requirements and the department's Scope of Service. Demonstrate professional standards guided by the ANA Code of Ethics. Requires six months of RN experience, BLS HCP, NRP, TNCC, and ENPC certifications. Night shift, part-time, Missouri-based.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Six months' registered nurse experience
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) - Emergency Nurses Association (ENA)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - American Academy Pediatrics (AAP)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - Emergency Nurses Association (ENA)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Essentials - American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
