Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, reassess patient conditions, and document findings in the medical record. Establish and evaluate care plans based on physician orders, lab data, and protocols while administering medications and managing IV fluids. Provide specialized care for high-risk patients, including restraint alternatives and infection control practices, and collaborate with the health team for daily coordination. Educate patients and families on discharge needs, clarify physician orders, and report variations in care or risks to appropriate personnel. Maintain a safe environment, perform hand-offs, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to work as an RN in the state of Missouri
- One year of registered nurse experience required
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
