Job Summary
Assess residents, implement health care services, and collaborate with the Community Health Director to provide health promotion and monitoring. Deliver resident and family education while scheduling tasks effectively to meet strict deadlines. Maintain resident confidentiality and ensure all rights are protected. Read, write, and communicate in English with excellent interpersonal skills and computer proficiency. Pass DSHS background check, complete Modified Fundamentals of Caregiving, and provide skilled nursing tasks to older adults. Obtain Food Handler's Certificate within 14 days of hire. Work Sunday and Monday shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Era Living is recognized as a Best in the Pacific Northwest Senior Community.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of School of Nursing either as an LPN or RN
- Must be able to complete Modified Fundamentals of Caregiving
- Two years' experience working with older adults
- Able to provide skilled nursing tasks to older adults
- Must complete Caregiver Mental Health and Dementia specialty training
- Must have current CPR certificate
- Food Handler's Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Ability to pass DSHS background check, required
