Job Summary
Conduct health education, outreach, and community needs assessments for Asian immigrant populations while facilitating patient advocacy and service access. Translate clinic materials, provide interpreting services, and manage patient registration, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling. Coordinate perinatal workshops, lead the Patient Leadership Council, and represent the agency in community forums and meetings. Greet patients, answer inquiries, and resolve billing or referral issues to ensure a welcoming environment. Work weekends and evenings as needed to support diverse staff and community members.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree
- Two years of work-related experience in a health setting
- A high school diploma
- Four years of relevant work experience
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree majors: health, social service, or other closely-related fields
- Experience in youth development, community engagement, victim services, or a related human services field
- Bilingual applicants who speak Khmer or Vietnamese
