Community Habilitation Worker; Orange, Ulster, & Sullivan County

Community Habilitation Worker in the Hudson Valley area providing mentoring and teaching services to individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve personal outcomes. Responsibilities include teaching daily living skills (money handling, socialization, cooking, job search, etc.), possible lifting or assisting with hygiene, traveling to assigned locations, meeting with individuals several times per week, attending trainings, protecting individual rights, and documenting sessions in appropriate databases with supervision from a Community Habilitation Supervisor. Qualifications emphasize computer-based reporting, experience with developmental disabilities, interpersonal skills, and a valid driver’s license; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Part-time, hourly pay at $18.30 with multiple locations in Orange, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia, and Greene Counties in NY. All positions require background checks and motor vehicle reports; EEO employer.
