Job Summary
Conduct daily routines and personal care while teaching individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities daily living skills. Drive residents to community outings and activities using agency vehicles, assisting with appointments and recreation as needed. Maintain timely documentation and uphold a safe, respectful environment by lifting up to 70 lbs for mobility support and emergency needs. Work the morning shift from 7 AM to 3 PM, ensuring individuals build confidence and independence through role modeling and mentorship.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

- Great communication skills

- Valid NYS driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Comfort with basic tech tools for documentation
- Ability to maintain certifications like AMAP, CPR, First Aid, and PROMOTE
- Ability to safely lift and assist up to 70 lbs
- Morning Shift Availability Only
- 7 AM- 3 PM
