Community Habilitation Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Community Habilitation provides coaching, companionship, and hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to promote independence, community integration, and personal growth. Duties include supporting skill development, assisting with community outings and activities, documenting services and progress, and contributing to a team that emphasizes service, excellence, and responsibility. Must be compassionate, patient, reliable, eager to learn, and committed to person-centered support; prefers ability to foster independence and inclusive participation in community activities. Location: Canastota, NY area; on-site in-person work. Education level: High School. Pay: $18.90/hour (approx. $39,312/year if full-time hours are assumed).
