Job Summary
As the Community General Manager (CGM) for Imperial Service at CIBC, you will lead a client-facing team within the banking centre and across related centres to deliver value aligned with client goals. You will build and mentor a capable, motivated team through proactive talent management, ensure operations, controls and compliance, promote CIBC in the community, and drive superior client experiences and growth. You will coach Leaders, Advisors, and Representatives to deepen client relationships, advocate for candidates who share our values, monitor performance, close gaps with action plans, and collaborate with partners to maximize market opportunities. You will model client-centric service using the experience principles Always Professional, Radically Simple and Genuinely Caring, and you will lead with accountability, integrity, and change-driven thinking. You are a certified professional with current accreditation and good standing, including Mutual Funds License, and you bring a track record of leading diverse, high-performing teams, influencing outcomes, and delivering exceptional client outcomes in a banking environment.
Required Qualifications
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada)
- Current accreditation and good standing
- Experience leading diverse, high performing teams
- Branch Compliance Officer’s Course (BCO) or related credentials (asset)
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or equivalent credentials (asset)
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and financial goals
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people-management skills
