Job Summary
Coordinate, manage, and assist in all renovation activities for resale apartments, working closely with vendors to ensure projects are completed as scheduled. Execute technical maintenance involving painting, carpentry, layout work, and tool utilization, while managing plumbing, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, sprinkler systems, and national electrical codes. Ensure compliance with national fire protection codes, EPA, OSHA, and local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain a valid driver's license for site travel. This role supports Acts Retirement-Life Communities, one of the largest not-for-profit owners of resort-style continuing care senior living communities across nine states.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4-5 years of technical maintenance experience
- Technical knowledge of painting, carpentry, layout work, and tool utilization
- Knowledge of all plumbing, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and sprinkler systems
- Good working knowledge of all phases of electricity and national electrical codes
- Understanding of national fire protection codes, EPA, and OSHA, as well as other local, state, and federal regulations
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
- Compliance with Florida's Care Provider Background Screening process
