Job Summary
Provide evidence-based mental health treatment to clients in person or via telehealth within their homes, conducting intakes, treatment planning, and individual or family psychotherapy. Complete mental health and psychosocial assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and deliver crisis intervention as necessary. Collaborate with community partners and participate in supervision, staffings, and team meetings. Available at least three evenings weekly, Monday through Friday, with travel between locations and exposure to extreme heat and humidity during summer months. Must be 21 years of age, hold a valid Florida driver's license, and pass required background checks and drug screenings.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mental Health and Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
- Registered (or eligible to become registered) in the state of Florida as a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, Registered Clinical Social Work Intern, or a Registered Marriage & Family Therapy Intern
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must have a negative drug screening prior to hire and throughout employment
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check, local checks, and DCF Level II Background Screening prior to hire and annually
- Must be in compliance with Florida Laws and Administrative Codes with fingerprinting and determined to be of good moral character
- Must have valid Florida Driver's License
- Must pass motor vehicle checks prior to hire and annually with acceptable driving record maintained throughout employment
- Must have reliable vehicle
- Must have valid vehicle registration
- Must have valid vehicle insurance
- Must be available at least 3 evenings a week, Monday through Friday
- Computer Literate
