Job Summary
Oversee daily sign-ins and sign-outs for after-school participants, maintain accurate rosters and attendance head counts, and ensure the communication board reflects program events and schedules. Build positive relationships with youth, families, and stakeholders while monitoring engagement to ensure a safe environment. Organize participant registration forms, site binders, and directories, and assist site coordinators with cycle reports and on-site events. May substitute for club leaders or attend off-site field trips. Complete required trainings and certifications, including approximately 15 hours of staff development spread across multiple weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Availability Monday through Friday, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work effectively with children and youth
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Must successfully pass an assessment evaluating math, reading comprehension, and spelling skills
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Stable internet access

Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in expanded learning programs, after-school programs, or youth recreation settings
- Associate's Degree in Child Development or a related field
- Previous experience working with K-12 students in academic, recreational, or youth development settings
