Job Summary
Greet families by name upon arrival, remember individual milestones, and connect parents with local neighbors to foster community. Lead the Community Gathering Circle during open play sessions, welcoming groups of all sizes to introduce themselves and share stories. Maintain the space by noticing when toys need wiping, shelves require resetting, or children need new play invitations, ensuring the environment remains clean and beautifully prepared. Support behind-the-scenes operations by preparing event materials, setting up classes, organizing supplies, tidying shared spaces, and assisting with light cleaning. During quieter sessions, help with day-to-day needs as they arise, while also supporting birthday celebrations by setting up parties, managing food and drinks, and keeping the space running smoothly.
Required Qualifications
- Weekend availability
- Minimum of 8-10 hours per week
- Comfortable speaking in front of a group
- Ability to gather families for a short community circle
- Background check completion
- Willingness to sit and read a story with children
- Willingness to engage in pretend play
- Willingness to help create a joyful environment for families
- Proactive nature
