Job Summary
Community Events Manager responsible for owning Wire 3’s presence in assigned regional markets by planning, staffing, and executing local events (brand and conversion events) at schools, festivals, civic gatherings, open houses, and neighborhood demos. The role involves building and maintaining event calendars, developing market-specific contact lists with Sales/Field Services/Government Affairs, replicating event models with local adaptations, creating a repeatable event kit, representing the brand in person, engaging with Nextdoor and Facebook groups, monitoring online conversations, coordinating with Brand Creative Lead for messaging, tracking engagement metrics and competitive intelligence, and collaborating across teams to ensure consistent brand voice. Requires in-market activity, evening/weekend availability, and residing in or near the assigned region.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in community marketing, field marketing, event coordination, or a related local-engagement role
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Strong in-person relationship-building skills with credibility in local settings
- Event planning and execution skills across multiple markets
- Excellent verbal and written communication with brand judgment
- Familiarity with Nextdoor and Facebook community groups; active presence preferred
- Must reside in or near the assigned region
- Experience in B2C field marketing or community engagement in a high-growth environment preferred
