Community Engagement Worker

Job Summary
Conduct outreach, engagement, and local partnerships to identify and respond to community needs. Coordinate Doorways services by providing emergency relief, assessments, referrals, and ongoing support. Recruit, train, support, and lead volunteers to ensure effective and compassionate service delivery. Build relationships with community organisations and agencies to strengthen support pathways while integrating faith, service, and community engagement. Support daily operations including administration, compliance, handling donated goods, and delivering community programs. Work 22.8 hours weekly, reporting to the Corps Officer in Wodonga, VIC.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary or Certificate IV in Community Services or equivalent
- Experience in the community services sector
- Experience in volunteer management
- Experience working with different cultures
- A national police record check
- Drivers Licence
- Working With Children Check
- Must be available for Wednesday and Friday
- Must be based in Wodonga, VIC
