Job Summary
Facilitate key partner and resident meetings in-person or virtually to derive action-oriented goals and ensure annual workplan objectives progress. Oversee collaborative projects funded by grants or general funds, maintaining visibility and accountability while managing direct reports. Ensure data integrity for qualitative and quantitative sources used in strategic planning sessions and support the Director of Community Engagement in budget development and grant management. Represent the Houston Food Bank in committees, coalitions, and outreach events to advance community voice and social cohesion. Manage one or more direct reports through performance management, role definition, and problem resolution. Travel up to 30% of the time domestically within the 18-county service area, with flexibility required for disaster response and community events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Management, Social Science, Social Work, Public Health, Government, or a closely related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Must have reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
