Job Summary
Plan, promote, and execute community events, workshops, and virtual meetups while supporting content creation for newsletters and social media channels. Respond to community inquiries across platforms and conduct research on local needs and engagement strategies. Track metrics, compile feedback reports, and provide general administrative support to the team. This full-time internship runs January to April 2027, with a $30 hourly rate and no visa sponsorship. Candidates must be able to travel frequently to Dallas, Austin, Los Angeles, or Phoenix for operational sites and partner locations.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
- Must have completed the second year of your undergraduate studies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for community building and social impact
- Experience with social media platforms and/or digital tools for community engagement (e.g., Slack, Facebook Groups)
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Creative thinker who brings enthusiasm and initiative
- Must be able to travel frequently throughout Dallas, Texas, Austin, Texas, Los Angeles, California, OR Phoenix, Arizona
- Requires transportation (not company provided)
- The ability to independently travel to operational sites, events, communities, and partner locations as needed
- This internship is a full-time position, in-person at our Dallas, Texas, Austin, Texas, Los Angeles, California OR Phoenix, Arizona office
- We will host our Spring 2027 interns from January to April

- The hourly rate for this internship is $30 per hour
