Job Summary
Lead community sensitization efforts on project objectives and beneficiary registration. Facilitate coordination with local authorities and stakeholders for smooth project implementation. Monitor field activities, prepare progress reports, and analyze assessment data to contribute to project impact and community needs reporting. Build relationships with community members and support documentation of success stories while ensuring compliance with safety standards and ethical guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a 14th-grade education in social sciences, law, nutrition, economics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in WASH or community-based programming.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage in diverse communities.
- Experience working with community-based structures and local governance systems.
Desired Qualifications
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in challenging environments.
- Familiarity with child protection and gender-sensitive programming.
- Knowledge of the western provinces, particularly Herat, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in English and Pashto (spoken and written); Dari is an asset.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications and basic data management tools.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and commitment to humanitarian principles.
