Community Engagement Coordinator - Northwest New Mexico

Job Summary
Serve as the primary community liaison and public representative for Axiom Care across Cibola, McKinley, San Juan, and Sandoval Counties. Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with Tribal Nations, healthcare providers, schools, local governments, and community-based organizations to build referral networks that improve access to behavioral health and recovery services. Conduct community outreach, coordinate stakeholder meetings, and represent the organization at health fairs and regional events while promoting culturally responsive engagement practices. Collect qualitative and quantitative data to support program planning and grant reporting, documenting all outreach activities and meeting outcomes in designated tracking systems. Prepare routine updates for leadership regarding partnership development and emerging community needs, identifying barriers to service delivery and developing practical solutions. Travel throughout the region as needed to support meetings and partnership development. Full-time exempt role with occasional nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years in the field of behavioral health
- Minimum 1 year in sales/business development
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Frequently required to spend multiple hours in a vehicle either as a driver or passenger
- Travel throughout Cibola, McKinley, San Juan, and Sandoval Counties as needed
Desired Qualifications
- An Associates Degree in Business or Marketing preferred
