Job Summary
Inclusive Employment Australia Community Engagement Coordinator role focuses on developing and maintaining partnerships across Launceston, West and North West Coast areas, building relationships with disability services, RTOs/TAFEs, schools and community groups, increasing commenced caseloads through community engagement, facilitating collaboration between external partners and Employment Plus Inclusive Employment Australia teams to address participant needs, representing Employment Plus at industry events, generating monthly Community Development reports and partner-portal updates, and supporting employers in adopting disability employment practices. The role requires strong communication, stakeholder management, project coordination, and travel across the region, with flexible hours and a supportive not-for-profit environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Employment Services
- knowledge of disabilities and the disability support sector
- Strong skills in identifying, assessing and developing new opportunities
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proven project management skills
- Driver's license for travel
